So yeah, interesting story with this one... I discovered the original sketch while I was cleaning out my desk and it was something I drew at the beginning of this year while I was working on a weekend. I was going to scrap the sketch but I liked the body posture enough to ink and color it now and... well there you have it.
If you are wondering what Sydney is "doing", he's basically just displaying a mild suprise-take. Mabey he forgot something, mabey he sees something interesting or mabey somebody just snapped a random photo of him. I'll let you all be the judge. Artist Notes: Dodging didnt turn out as good, and I recently discovered that OC4 dodge brush ignores black so I had to air spray the black part of his tail for "lighting". Yeah I got rid of his alternating colored soles, they were starting to bug me and I think I like his classic feet better anyways. -- Sydney Fox is (c) by Jonathan S. Deleon |
